Frequently Asked Questions
What operating system and software does the Arduino UNO Q run?
The Arduino UNO Q runs full upstream Debian Linux with native Docker and Docker Compose support.
For development, you can use Arduino App Lab to program in Python or standard Arduino sketches, allowing rapid deployment in minutes.
How does on-device AI and computer vision work on the UNO Q?
The UNO Q features a dedicated triple hardware acceleration engine: GPU + DSP + ISP built-in directly on the board.
This dedicated pipeline handles real-time edge vision capture, image signal processing (ISP), and DSP audio processing locally without overloading system resources.
What storage and memory configurations are available?
The UNO Q comes with 16 GB or 32 GB of onboard eMMC storage, eliminating the need for external microSD cards and preventing data corruption.
For system memory, you can configure your rig with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM depending on your workload requirements.
What are the power requirements and wireless capabilities?
The board supports a wide 7–24 V power input with built-in overvoltage and reverse-polarity protection.
Wireless communication includes Wi-Fi 5 dual-band (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) with an onboard antenna and Bluetooth 5.1.
